Terahertz High Speed Line Scanner is a unique product, which features both, unprecedented imaging speed of 5000 frames per second and ease of integration into any industrial process.
Its ultrafast linear sensor array is built to satisfy the needs in Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) and Quality Control (QC) for many industrial applications employing high speed conveyors belts. This product fits most conveyors with a belt speed up to 15 m/s.
Our Terahertz High Speed Line Scanner consists of two parts: a terahertz imaging camera and THz generator, both optimised & synchronised to each other.
The generator is supplied with a specially configured horn antenna designed to cover the entire imaging area across conveyor belt. The horn spreads THz beam evenly and ensures that the whole THz radiation power is properly delivered from the generator into the camera.
The camera pixel size determines image resolution of 1.5 mm, which is more than ample to support imaging in most industrial applications.

The TeTechS T-Era terahertz photoconductive antennas (THz-PCAs) are used to generate and detect wideband terahertz pulses in terahertz time-domain systems.
The T-Era THz-PCAs are made on high resistive ultra-fast epitaxially grown low-temperature GaAs (LT-GaAs) and LT-InGaAs substrates packaged in TeTechS’ patented enclosure modules. The enclosure module houses the antenna chip with a collimating high-resistive silicon lens attach to the back side of the sensor chip.
The device is packaged in a modular format so that it is easy to change the antenna chip inside the enclosure at a fraction of cost. The device is shipped with the silicon lens aligned and packaged on the back side of the antenna chip. The silicon lens can be re-aligned after changing the antenna chip using our silicon lens setting fixtures.
The detected terahertz photocurrent can be measured through a MMCX connector. The standard Ø1″ treaded body makes it convenient to attach the module to other standard optical components or mount it on an optical bench.
